An Oriental Medicine Clinic For Rhinitis

Rhinitis is a disease that involves the mucous membranes of the nose, eyes, ear and throat. The disease is characterized by episodes of repetitive sneezing; runny nose; post-nasal drip; itchy eyes, nose and throat; loss of sense of smell; and sinus headaches. The disease can be caused by viral or bacterial infections, allergens, drugs and certain foods.비염치료잘하는곳

There are several types of rhinitis: Allergic Rhinitis (also known as hay fever) is a seasonal disorder characterized by sneezing, watery nasal discharge and itchy eyes. This type of rhinitis is caused by hypersensitivity of the nasal mucousa to pollen and other antigens such as dust mites, fungal spores, animal hair and saliva, fumes and certain foods.

Acupuncture can treat all types of rhinitis and has proven through controlled trials to be effective against the primary symptoms of this disease. Chinese herbal medicine is also a very effective treatment and when used in conjunction with acupuncture has produced excellent results. Unlike western medications that only treat the symptomatic side of the disease, Chinese herbs and dietary advice will address the root cause of the condition and provide long term relief. For additional information on this disease and its treatment, see the book “Clinical Handbook of Internal Medicine” by Will Maclean. The book discusses herb and formula recommendations but for compliance reasons Mayway cannot present them in this article.라경찬한의원
